Our website offers you the opportunity to opt-in to our newsletter. The newsletter provides you periodically with information about our services. To receive our newsletter, we require a valid email address. When subscribing to our newsletter, we will store your IP address as well as the date and time you subscribed. Webshop powered by WooCommerce

Technically separated from our generic ‘challenge-family.com’ website we offer an online webshop on ‘challenge-family.shop’. The personal data (name, address and financial) which is required to enter in the webshop will be used for fulfillment of the shop orders and will be used for marketing purposes on an aggregated level to create profiles for analysis and campaign optimizations. For this the order data is shared with Mailchimp for analysis, it will not be shared to third-parties or partners and it will not be used for unsolicited mailings.

Use of Facebook Conversion Tracking Pixel

With your permission, our website utilizes the Conversion Tracking Pixel service of Facebook Inc., 1601 S. California Ave., Palo Alto, CA 94304, USA (“Facebook”). This tool allows us to follow the actions of users after they are redirected to a provider’s website by clicking on a Facebook advertisement. We are thus able to record the efficacy of Facebook advertisements for statistical and market research purposes. The collected data remain anonymous. Information about upcoming Challenge Family Events is shared using the Active.com mobile app which is available in Google Play Store and the Apple AppStore. Active.com is based in Dallas, Texas, United States and offers an endurance event registration platform to participants of the Challenge Family owned and licensed events. Specifically, for the usage of the App and based on the specific consent and legitimate interest provided for usage of the App, Active.com collects information to provide Services requested, profiling and analytics, monitor and improve our Applications, run analytics and statistics.

Registration data

For Challenge Family licensed and owned events, Challenge Family receives basic participant data for analysis, segmentation and to determine loyalty status. The athlete data is captured in CRM system ActiveCampaign and enhanced with additional data streams that the athlete opted-in on. Aggregated data on event level is used for financial reporting.
